Flourless Chocolate Chunk Cookies - Recipe

I made these yummy chocolate chunk
cookies for Valentine's Day!
I made these awesome and incredibly simple cookies for Valentine's Day, and they may be one of my new favorites. With so few ingredients, and taking very little time to make, they're a college student's stream, and satisfy any chocolate craving! No flour, no butter. Give this recipe a try! I know you'll be hungry for more!

Flourless Chocolate Chunk Cookies - Recipe

Makes 1 Dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I used 1/4 c. dark chocolate chips and 1/4 white chocolate chips, but use whatever you like…add nuts for a fun twist!)
  • coarse natural sugar (like Sugar in the Raw) for the top

Procedure:

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

Mix together powdered sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt until evenly combined.

Add in egg whites slowly, and mix thoroughly until the mixture forms a dough. The mixture should be thick enough to form balls. If it is not thick enough, add a little more powdered sugar to get the desired consistency.

Add the chocolate chops, nuts, peppermint chunks, or any other added ingredients that would be delicious! Spoon onto a baking sheet, covered in foil and sprayed with nonstick spray for easy cleanup, and sprinkle the tops of the cookies with a little bit of the coarse natural sugar for a wonderful added crunch. You could sprinkle a little coarse sea salt on them, as well, for a sweet and salty treat.

Bake the cookies for 16 to 18 minutes. They should appear crackled. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Enjoy the chocolately deliciousness!
